Set a custom tone of voice and style for generated content

This guide shows you how to define a custom tone of voice, style, and specific terminology for your project. By setting these rules, you ensure that all future AI-generated content aligns with your brand's voice and uses correct, consistent language. You will need to have a project created.

  1. From your project dashboard, click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar.

  2. In the left sidebar of the Project Settings modal, click Languages.

  3. Locate the Tone of Voice & Style section and click the Edit button. Documentation image

  4. A Tone of Voice & Style window will open. You can use the quick-suggestion buttons like Friendly, Technical, You, or We to create a base style guide.

  5. Click Build to automatically generate a prompt in the text box based on your selections.

  6. To further refine the AI's output, add your own rules, preferred phrases, or a glossary of specific terms and their definitions directly into the text box. This helps the AI understand your product's unique terminology. Documentation image

  7. Click Save to apply your custom style guide to the project.

Tips

Your custom tone of voice and style will be applied to all new articles you generate. To update existing articles with the new style, you will need to regenerate them.
