No. Hinto AI requires no video editing, no writing, and no technical setup. If you can record your screen and click upload, you can use Hinto. The AI handles transcription, structuring, and formatting. You review and publish.

Hinto AI accepts MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, and WebM files. You can also import videos directly from Loom, Google Drive, Screen Studio, and Dropbox with no download needed. Hinto has a built-in screen recorder so you can capture your screen without leaving the app. Maximum file size and video minutes depend on your plan.

From a single video, Hinto AI can generate: knowledge base articles, step-by-step SOPs, blog posts, product release notes, meeting summaries, guided lessons, and user research reports. You choose the output type before generating. You can also reuse the same video to generate multiple output types across different projects.

A fifteen-minute recording typically produces a complete draft in a minute or two. Generation runs in the background so you can keep working while Hinto processes. You receive a notification when your document is ready.

Yes. Hinto AI supports 41 languages. You can generate content in any supported language from the start, or translate an existing project into additional languages after publishing. Translated articles are managed separately so you can edit and publish each language independently. Multi-language is available on the Small Team plan and above.

Yes. Every generated document opens in a rich-text editor where you can rewrite any section, reorder steps, add or remove screenshots, embed GIFs, and insert your own notes. Changes save automatically. You can also restore any previous version of an article from the version history.

Yes. Hinto AI hosts your documentation on a fast public URL out of the box. You can connect your own custom domain, apply custom themes and colors, add your logo and navigation links, configure SEO settings, and connect Google Analytics, all from the publishing settings. Custom domain is available on the Small Team plan and above.

Hinto AI supports exporting individual articles or entire projects as PDF, Word, or Markdown. You can also copy content to clipboard, or export your full knowledge base as an LLMs.txt file, a structured format that lets AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude answer questions using your documentation.

Yes. Hinto generates an LLMs.txt file for every published project, a structured export that AI tools can read. You can point ChatGPT, Claude, or any LLM at your LLMs.txt to let it answer questions from your actual documentation. This is available on all plans.

Yes. The Free plan includes 15 minutes of video upload, 3 projects, one team member, free documentation hosting, and all export options. The 15 minutes are yours for life and never reset. No credit card is required, and you can publish with a public Hinto URL.

Free: 15 video minutes for life, 3 projects, 1 member. Small Team ($15/month): 60 video minutes a month, 3 members, a custom domain, API access, all languages. Growth ($99/month): 200 minutes a month, 10 members, and six custom domains. All-Inclusive ($499/month): 1000 minutes a month, unlimited members, dedicated support. Video minutes are the only thing Hinto meters, so they are the only limit you can hit. When your balance reaches zero, you cannot process new video until you have minutes again, and everything you already published stays live and readable. Paid plans refill their minutes at the start of each billing month, and unused minutes do not carry over. The Free plan's 15 minutes are a one-time allowance for the life of the account and never reset. Upgrade at any time to restore capacity straight away. The number of articles you produce from your minutes is never capped.

No. All plans are billed at the advertised monthly price with no setup fees, no per-seat charges, and no hidden costs. Documentation hosting and all export formats are included in every plan. Custom Solutions pricing is negotiated based on your usage and requirements.

Yes. All paid plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel from your account settings at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. You can export all your content as PDF, Word, or Markdown before canceling. You always own your data.

Hinto AI exports content as clean Markdown that pastes directly into Notion or Confluence. PDF and Word export are also available. Hinto does not integrate with Slack directly. Webhooks fire when you publish, republish, unpublish or archive a project, and they POST to any URL you configure, so an automation tool or an incoming webhook can forward that event into Slack. For deeper integrations, the Hinto API is available on the Small Team plan and above.

Yes. The Hinto AI API lets you programmatically create projects, trigger content generation, retrieve content, and set up webhooks for project notifications. Full API documentation is available in the Hinto docs. API access is included in the Small Team plan and above.

Yes to both. Hinto AI integrates with Intercom Fin AI. You can sync your Hinto knowledge base directly with Intercom so its AI can answer support questions from your documentation. Hinto also has a native Framer integration that lets you embed a full knowledge base layout inside a Framer site.

You invite team members to a shared workspace. Members can view, edit, and publish projects they have access to. The Free plan is a single seat. Small Team includes 3 members, Growth includes 10, and All-Inclusive is unlimited. You can also invite collaborators to specific projects without giving access to your full workspace.

A workspace is the shared environment that holds all your projects and team members. There are two roles: Owner (full access, manages billing and invitations) and Member (can create and edit content in projects they are assigned to). You can have multiple workspaces on the All-Inclusive and Custom plans.

Yes. Stored videos and documents are encrypted at rest with AES-256, and every connection to Hinto uses TLS. Hinto AI does not sell your data. No. Hinto AI does not use your uploaded videos, generated articles, or any other content to train AI models. Your content is processed to generate your documents and is not shared with any third party for model training purposes. You retain full ownership of everything you upload and generate.

Yes. You can delete videos and articles from within the app, and deletion is permanent. To delete a whole project or your account, email contact@hintoai.com. Backups are cleared on a rolling schedule.

Yes. Hinto AI has a dedicated user interview analysis mode.
