Hinto AI accepts MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, and WebM files. You can also import videos directly from Loom, Google Drive, and Dropbox — no download needed. Hinto has a built-in screen recorder so you can capture your screen without leaving the app. Maximum file size and video minutes depend on your plan.

Yes. Every generated document opens in a rich-text editor where you can rewrite any section, reorder steps, add or remove screenshots, embed GIFs, and insert your own notes. Changes save automatically. You can also restore any previous version of an article from the version history.

Yes. Hinto AI hosts your documentation on a fast public URL out of the box. You can connect your own custom domain, apply custom themes and colors, add your logo and navigation links, configure SEO settings, and connect Google Analytics — all from the publishing settings. Custom domain is available on the Small Team plan and above.

Hinto AI supports exporting individual articles or entire projects as PDF or Markdown. You can also copy content to clipboard, or export your full knowledge base as an LLMs.txt file — a structured format that lets AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude answer questions using your documentation.

Yes. Hinto generates an LLMs.txt file for every published project — a structured export that AI tools can read. You can point ChatGPT, Claude, or any LLM at your LLMs.txt to let it answer questions from your actual documentation. This is available on all plans.

When you reach your monthly limit, new generations are paused until the next billing cycle. Your existing published documentation stays live and accessible to readers. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time to immediately restore capacity. Unused generations do not roll over between months.

No. All plans are billed at the advertised monthly price with no setup fees, no per-seat charges, and no hidden costs. Documentation hosting and all export formats are included in every plan. Custom Solutions pricing is negotiated based on your usage and requirements.

Yes. All paid plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel from your account settings at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. You can export all your content as PDF or Markdown before canceling — you always own your data.

Hinto AI exports content as clean Markdown that pastes directly into Notion or Confluence. PDF export is also available. Slack webhook notifications are available so your team gets notified when new documentation is published. For deeper integrations, the Hinto API is available on the Growth plan and above.

Yes to both. Hinto AI integrates with Intercom Fin AI — you can sync your Hinto knowledge base directly with Intercom so its AI can answer support questions from your documentation. Hinto also has a native Framer integration that lets you embed a full knowledge base layout inside a Framer site.

You invite team members to a shared workspace. Members can view, edit, and publish projects they have access to. The Free plan supports up to 2 team members. All paid plans include unlimited team members. You can also invite collaborators to specific projects without giving access to your full workspace.

A workspace is the shared environment that holds all your projects and team members. There are two roles: Owner (full access, manages billing and invitations) and Member (can create and edit content in projects they are assigned to). You can have multiple workspaces on the All-Inclusive and Custom plans.

Yes. All video files and generated content are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Hinto AI does not sell your data to third parties. Access to your content is restricted to your account and the team members you explicitly invite. For enterprise security requirements, contact the Hinto team.

No. Hinto AI does not use your uploaded videos, generated documentation, or any other content to train AI models. Your content is processed to generate your documents and is not shared with any third party for model training purposes. You retain full ownership of everything you upload and generate.

Yes. You can delete individual articles, entire projects, or your full account from within the app. Deleting your account removes all associated videos and generated content from Hinto servers.
