Step 1: Plan Your Product Walkthrough

Before you start recording, have a clear idea of what you want to show. You don't need a detailed script, but you should know which feature you'll be focusing on. The goal is to create a simple, focused demo that clearly explains one part of your product.

Step 2: Record and Narrate Your Demo

As you record your screen, narrate your actions as if you're explaining it to a new user. Speak clearly and at a natural pace. The most important thing is to describe what's on the screen and what you're doing. Don't worry about being perfect—Hinto AI is designed to understand natural speech, including pauses and small mistakes.

  • Start by introducing the feature you're about to demonstrate.
  • Clearly name UI elements as you interact with them, such as "the Sort by menu" or "the New Meeting button."
  • Explain the purpose of each function as you click through the interface.
  • Walk through a common user action from start to finish, like creating a new item or changing a setting.

Step 3: Upload Your Recording to Hinto AI

Once you've finished recording and saved the video file to your computer, you're ready to turn it into documentation. Log in to your Hinto AI account and navigate to the project where you want to add the content.

  1. From your project dashboard, choose the option to generate content from a video.
  2. In the pop-up window, click the Upload button or drag and drop your video file.
  3. Select the screen recording you just created and confirm the upload.
